“It is I don't be afraid”!

  My last couple of posts have had to do with rejection. This one does not. This post is just a quick thought. Recently, I had a conversation with a good friend of mine. She shared her frustration concerning marriage. Basically, she shared with me the statistics concerning black women and how they are not getting married and probably will not. We kind of argued back and forth about the statistic. I'm not going to lie after leaving that conversation with her I felt a little rattled. I started feeling like maybe it's possible that God really doesn't want me to get married. I mean I am a single 38-year-old black woman. The reality is the odds are not exactly in my favor. Maybe you're feeling this way too,  maybe there's something that you're trusting God for but the statistics are not in your favor.
